Traverse the legendary Erie Canal -considered by many to be the eighth wonder of the world- on a replica historic packet boat. Cruises offer a rare perspective on the region’s cultural heritage, offering live narration and a trip through a century-old lock.
Each year, more than 11,000 people - representing all 50 states and more than 30 countries - cruise the Erie Canal on the Sam Patch, named after the 19th-century mill worker who became America’s first famous daredevil who met his fate in Rochester, NY. Drinks, snacks, and bathroom are on board. The cruise will depart from Schoen Place in Pittsford promptly at 6:30 PM.
